Female Driver Delivers Wins / Mariah Boudrieau

Mariah Boudrieau Female Driver Delivers Wins

Admirable Goals for An Aggressive Racer

Female Driver Delivers #Wins / Mariah Boudrieau

Third generation racer, youngster Mariah Boudrieau has been busy this season making her dreams a reality. Last year, she finished eighth in the Super Stock division and became the first female to win ‘Rookie of the Year’ at Colorado National Speedway in that series.

I-25 Speedway – “Thunder in the Rockies” offers Saturday night racing from May to September. Located six miles north of Pueblo, Colorado, the short race track is a 1/4 mile paved oval.

Freshly after her Late Model win at I-25 speedway on June 26th, NASCAR Race Mom had the opportunity to learn more about this Colorado Springs athlete.

"I am racing a late model for the 2021 racing season. It is my first season in the car and I am doing exceptionally well. I am also working on racing the Arca Menards series, but I am in need of sponsors." Mariah Boudrieau

Question: As a young female, what type of pressure are you under to represent your gender?

As a young female in racing, I always feel I must prove that I am good enough to run with the guys. I am the only female currently running late models in Colorado at my home track of Colorado national speedway, and the other track of I-25 speedway.

So far in my racing career, I have experienced some hardships of being a young female . . . . some of the male drivers think that they can intimidate me, but I never let them. I also have experienced some amazing male drivers that support me and help me in my racing journey.

Question: What does your team offer potential Sponsors?

For my local racing and the Arca Menards series my team offers potential sponsors a multitude of different things. We offer: social media posts, videos personal appearances, autograph meet and greets, race car appearances, and pit passes for special sponsors.

Question: What is your favorite part of the racing community?

My favorite part of the racing community is the interaction I get with my fans, the fans are absolutely amazing towards me. I also enjoy the supportive competition I get with my fellow drivers.

Question: What is your goal for 2021?

My goal for 2021 is to finish top 10 in the late model points at Colorado National Speedway. I also want to try and make a race for the ARCA Menards series!

Question: Where do you see yourself in 2022?

In 2022 I hopefully see myself running a full if not almost full schedule for the ARCA Menards series!

Admirable goals for an aggressive driver.

MDRmotorsports Driver Mentoring Meeting at Sam Bass Gallery

MDRmotorsports Driver Mentoring Meeting at Sam Bass Gallery by Josh Aultice

MDRmotorsports Driver Mentoring Meeting at Sam Bass Gallery

Saturday was a day full of travel and networking. Thank you so very much to MDR, Mary, and Sharon for organizing the event and a very special thank you to Mr. Sam Bass for hosting the event at his gallery. The atmosphere for the event was absolutely perfect and very inspirational. I caught myself more then once staring at some of the artwork and just wondering if perhaps one day I would have a paint scheme of my car hanging amongst the shrine of these other NASCAR legends.

The event started off by everyone gathering in a circle and introducing themselves and talking of their NASCAR affiliates. It was a very well rounded group, from someone like me who is just starting to find my footing in the NASCAR world all the way up to someone like Joey Gase poised to make his first ever Daytona 500 start.

Next we were divided up to have one- on- one time with a mentor. I personally enjoyed the company of drivers Chad Finchum, Kyle Lockrow, and Joey Gase, as well as media professionals Keith Weiss and Ellen Richardson. Unfortunately I did not quite make it all the way around to meet all the mentors; however, I really enjoyed my time with the ones I did speak with. Everyone was extremely encouraging and it was refreshing to pick the brains of some of these professionals as I am in the midst of finishing up school at Liberty University and forging my own path within the world of NASCAR.

Sam Bass encouraged everyone to continue pursing their passions.
The perfect conclusion and one of my favorite highlights of the event was when Mr. Sam Bass came out to address the group at the end. He encouraged everyone to continue pursing their passions as he talked about some of his personal experiences. He even took time after to take pictures and talk with anyone who wished to meet him personally. It was such an honor to meet Sam and it truly was an unforgettable experience to reflect on all his work and accomplishments displayed throughout the gallery.

What I want to leave everybody with is simply an encouragement to keep going and never stop chasing your dreams. It’s unbelievable to look back just two years ago and think I was just another fan in the stands. If you had told me then in two years I would have volunteered at tracks like Martinsville Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, interviewed William Byron on stage in front of nearly 10,000 people, and created my own internship at Liberty concerning sponsorship with William Byron, I would have told you there’s no way. I am on the fringe of doing big things. I still have a long ways to go to reach my ultimate goal of being a driver; however, I’m learning more and more every day to enjoy the journey rather then solely focus on the destination. So keep going, keep making connections, and never stop dreaming.

Joey Gase’s Newest Sponsor:
ChuckWagon Mobile Grilling System

Multitasking is a great avenue to produce the most bang for your buck. Business are always on the hunt for the marketing that will industriously promote their new product. However, when you can do that and also support a great cause . . . . you have a winning situation.

Thurston Manufacturing Company is a forty-five-year-old company that has been providing high quality products to several different market sectors. They strive to solve problems by make things easier for their customers. That is their philosophy in regards to their new product, the ChuckWagon Mobile Grilling System (MGS).

“We were going to tailgates, and always had to load and unload the grill into the truck and everything else,” Nick Jensen, co-owner and Chief Marketing Officer of Thurston explained. “It was such a pain that we decided to come up with a way to eliminate that and make tailgating a whole lot easier. It pops up and you can be grilling in minutes. Everything fits inside the truck bed.”

Last month, at a Nebraska Cornhuskers Spring Game, the new ChuckWagon Mobile Grilling System debuted to great reviews. However, the ChuckWagon product appeared to be explicitly designed to fit into the mammoth NASCAR camping/tailgating market.

Through a mutual and long-time friend, Jim Jones from the Caring Hands Village,* Nick was introduced to NASCAR Xfinity Driver Joey Gase and his ‘Donate Life’  work.

When Joey, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa native, was just eighteen, his mother, Mary Jo,** succumbed to a brain aneurism and passed away. Joey works with ‘Donate Life’ as a way to honor his mother. He is an unwavering advocate for organ, tissue and eye donation.

A NASCAR fan, Nick Jensen seized the opportunity to sponsor Gase’s #52 Jimmy Means Chevrolet at the Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. What a perfect way to introduce their new product to the NASCAR fans.

“We are going to be showcasing our ChuckWagon in a couple of different spots at Charlotte” Nick stated. “We will be tailgating both on Saturday and Sunday. Since we will be moving around a bit, just like and follow our Facebook Page to keep up-to-date as to our location.”

If you are at the Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend, stop by to check out the new ChuckWagon Mobile Grilling System and be sure to thank Nick Jensen and the crew for their sponsorship of Joey Gase and his quest to promote donations for life.

"We are so excited that 'Chuck Wagon' chose our project to debut this new tailgating product! They are helping support not only Joey Gase, but also organ donation groups, TBI survivors, and all of the groups that work with them! Their generosity really touches my heart! And we all can't wait to see...and taste...the Chuck Wagon in action this weekend!" Mary Dixon (Making Dreams Reality Through Motorsports) ***

*The Caring Hands Village (Located near Charlotte, NC) is a non-profit organization that provides housing/lodging and services to patients and their families as they go through medical treatments and recovery, whether it is long term or short term.

Caring Hands Village is there to provide healing through Nature, Peace and Tranquility. Jim Jones is a transplant recipient.

** The oldest of her children, Joey was faced with the responsibility of deciding whether to donate her organs and tissues. Mary Jo’s organs were donated and able to provide new life to a number of individuals in desperate need of a transplant.

The experience sparked a fire in Joey Gase to spread the word far and wide about the importance of organ, tissue and eye donation. His passion for sharing the message about donation rivals his passion for racing.

*** MDRmotorsports stands for 'Making Dreams Reality Through Motorsports.' They organized a sponsorship with Joey Gase, sponsoring his rear bumper for the May Charlotte Xfinity race! This project is in cooperation with 'Caring Hands Village LLC' of North Carolina, and part of their goal is to bring publicity and awareness to the Donate Life and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) groups of North Carolina!
