Six Female Drivers Compete in ARCA Race

A Diversity Milestone & Record

 

The ARCA Menards Series saw another diversity milestone reached when the drivers took the green flag for Sunday’s Sprecher 150 at the Milwaukee Mile.

 

A total of six women competed in the legendary one-mile paved oval in West Allis, Wisconsin. That’s tied for the most in a single event (2010) over the ARCA Menards Series’ storied history.

 

The women are:

• Amber Balcaen (Full-Time Driver)
• Toni Breidinger (Full-Time Driver)
• Mandy Chick
• Stephanie Moyer
• Amber Slagle
• Rita Thomason

This combination event, the race also serves as the sixth leg of the ARCA Menards Series East season and Round 8 of this year’s Sioux Chief Showdown.

Weekend #NASCAR Schedule for– Daytona & Milwaukee

#NASCAR Cup and Xfinity at Daytona International Speedway plus ARCA at the Milwaukee Mile

 

Saturday, the NASCAR Cup drivers will go all out to keep their championship hopes alive at the ‘World Center of Racing.’  The “Coke Zero Sugar 400” will be the last chance before the playoff’s round of sixteen. The Xfinity Series will compete at Daytona on Friday.

 

Sunday’s ARCA Event, the ‘Sprecher 150’ at the Milwaukee Mile, represents the ARCA Menards Series’ Race 15 of 20; the ARCA Menards Series East’s Race 6 of 7 and the Sioux Chief Showdown’s Race 8 of 10.
