The 2018 NASCAR Playoffs kicked off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in mid-September, with the season’s star Monster Energy #NASCAR Cup Series performers embarking on a ten-race run for Cup glory, which will now see a four-way battle for the title between Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick.

Kyle Larson Wins Midget Race in New Zealand

Kyle Larson was in New Zealand last summer and scheduled to partake in a local race, but due to some inclement weather he was unable to do so. Nevertheless, that did not detour this Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series star.

Kwasniewski Shoots Commercial

Young Shoe, Dylan Kwasniewski knows how to work with his sponsors. He has been busy filming a television commercial for Royal Purple TV. Kwasniewski was the 2011 NASCAR K & N Pro Series West Sunoco “Rookie of The Year” - the youngest to win the title!

At the age of four and a half, Dylan jumped into the seat of his first kart in Norwalk, CT. He captured his first win shortly after turning five. From then on he was hooked on racing.

This year will be his second in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. His #03 Ford is sponsored by Rockstar and Royal Purple.

“Day 1 of filming the 2012 Royal Purple TV commercial is done. Two more days of filming then watch for me on ESPN, SPEED, and FUEL TV!” Dylan reported on his Facebook page. “12 hours of on track filming today.... Day 2 begins in 4 hours... Filming at home, school, La Crosse game, and at my fight gym. Day 3 will be at Gene Price Motorsports in Parker, AZ on Saturday!! Never knew zipping up my driving suit would take 5 different "takes" to get the perfect shot!”

The 1st National Finals Rodeo (NFR) was held in Dallas in 1959. Later, it was held in Los Angeles and Oklahoma City before coming to Las Vegas in 1985 with the help of Las Vegas visionary Benny Binion.

The Wrangler NFR is one of the hottest tickets in town, and it has sold out its last 220 performances (over 20 years worth). Held at the Tom & Mack Center of the University of Las Vegas, Nevada the NFR awards the best in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, barrel roping, team and tie-down roping. It is the largest prize money rodeo in the world. In fact, it paid out over $5.5 million to contestants just last year.

For the fourth consecutive year MGM Grand is “Home of the Champions” as the resort hosts more than 25 cowboys throughout the 10 days of competition. The resort will offer guests the opportunity to watch the telecast live each night inside the 740-seat Hollywood Theatre.
