Each year Jeff donates his personal Corvette to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation. The Corvette program has raised nearly $7 million for pediatric cancer research, and helped open the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital and the Butaro Cancer Center of Excellence.

Jeff Gordon’s Corvette For A Cure

Worldwide, 300,000 families each year hear the words: Your child has cancer. Every day in the United States more than 40 kids are diagnosed with cancer, and it remains the number one cause of death by disease. For those who survive their diagnosis, two-thirds will suffer long-term effects from their treatment including loss of hearing and sight, heart disease, secondary cancers, cognitive disabilities, infertility and more. But you can offer these families hope by investing in childhood cancer research with Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation.

In 17 years, more than 70,000 people have done just that, raising more than $15 million through the Corvette For A Cure program alone.

Last year, 92 percent of you who made contributions covered your transaction costs — sending more of your donations directly to the mission — and nearly 2,000 especially generous people even made an additional donation. Nearly 100 folks went the extra mile and chose to have their additional contributions recur monthly. THIS is how we beat childhood cancer together.

Your donations fund innovations that improve quality of life, treatment programs that increase survivorship, and medical research dedicated to finding a cure for kids fighting cancer in your community and communities all over the world. They can’t do it without you.

Jeff Gordon’s Corvette For A Cure

Stronger, faster, smarter: Technology and engineering have evolved the Corvette into a modern marvel. Each time it seems the Corvette can’t get any better, it does. A lot has changed about the Corvette in 70 years, and a lot has changed about the fight against childhood cancer, too. Therapeutic discoveries and treatment advancements that make the fight stronger, faster, and smarter have been made possible by individuals dedicated to helping kids fight cancer. Imagine what your help could make happen over the next 70 years.

You Could Win Jeff Gordon’s One-Of-A-Kind 2021 Camaro Zl1 1le Coupe

You Could Win Jeff Gordon’s One-Of-A-Kind 2021 Camaro Zl1 1le Coupe

Four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon is donating a very special car to benefit kids fighting cancer through Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation (JGCF).

This unique 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Coupe features custom matte gold accents and brake calipers as a nod to his nonprofit’s vital mission – gold is the official color for childhood cancer awareness.

Tickets to win the car are available February 3 – March 3, 2021 for $100 each at www.CamaroForACure.org and only 15,000 will be sold.

All tickets purchased between February 3 and 10, 2021 will be entered into two drawings – one for a $10,000 cash prize and another drawing for Gordon’s one-of-a-kind 2021 Camaro ZL1 1LE Coupe.

Federal taxes will be paid on all prizes, and Gordon will personally hand over the keys to the car and sign over the title to the winner.

JGCF’s last car program sold out in a record nine days.

While this is only the second Camaro Gordon has parted with for fundraising, he has donated a Corvette to Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation for each of the past 15 years.

Through this Corvette For A Cure program alone, nearly $11 million has been raised for life-saving research at top-tier hospitals and medical institutions in communities across the country.

Gordon wanted to do something special to set this Camaro apart from any other car he has ever donated.

With the support of Axalta Coating Systems and Hendrick Performance, a matte gold coating – hand-picked by Gordon and expertly mixed by the paint professionals at Axalta – was flawlessly applied to the front valance, side skirts and rear valance.

The brake calipers also were painted gold and the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation logo was affixed to each one.

An engine plate also bears the JGCF logo and emphasizes the car’s “1 of 1” exclusivity.

More than 20 years ago a group of parents picked gold as the official color for the childhood cancer awareness ribbon.

They believed the color gold symbolizes how precious children are and the resiliency of childhood cancer heroes.

Throughout history gold also is associated with optimism, generosity, success, achievement, and triumph.

Gordon’s personal 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Coupe features a Black exterior with a Jet Black interior package complete with carbon fiber and red accents. MSRP is $76,930 and key stats include:

  • — 6.2L supercharged V8 engine
  • — 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque
  • — Standard 6-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching
  • — 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package
  • — 19″ Low Gloss Black Forged Aluminum Wheels with Summer-Only Tires
  • — Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium System with Navigation and 8″ Diagonal HD Color Touchscreen
  • — Performance Data and Video Recorder

Gordon started the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation in 1999 – a 501(c)(3) public charity – to help improve outcomes for children diagnosed with cancer.

Since then, more than $22 million has been used to fund some of the most promising research in childhood cancer, as well as open the Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital in Concord, N.C., and the Butaro Cancer Center of Excellence in Rwanda.

Cancer is the number one cause of death by disease for children, and families of 43 children every day receive the devastating news of a cancer diagnosis.

Only about four percent of the National Cancer Institute’s budget is dedicated to pediatric cancer, with pharmaceutical companies contributing minimal resources, leaving childhood cancer heavily reliant upon private donations.

To buy tickets to win Gordon’s 2021 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Coupe, review complete rules, and learn more about the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation visit: www.CamaroForACure.org.

Survivor’s Story

While in Michigan for the June 2005 Batman Begins 400, Jeff met Jonathan, an inspiring 10-year-old who was battling childhood cancer. Jonathan was diagnosed with leukemia, a cancer of the white blood cells, when he was 8 years old. He was on his second year of treatment when he met Jeff. On that day, the race theme was Batman — celebrating a fictional character commonly referred to as a superhero. Jonathan’s superhero, though, wore a fire suit instead of a cape and drove a Chevy painted with the number 24 instead of the Batmobile.

Jonathan and Jeff - Survivor’s Story
Sitting at a small picnic table behind Jeff’s RV, the two would share an experience that Jonathan describes as “one of the best moments of [his] childhood.” Though the humid June day was overcast, Jonathan’s smile brightened one very important photo of he and his hero.

Jonathan and Jeff - Survivor’s StoryThirteen years after their initial meeting Jonathan and Jeff shared a smile again. In March 2018 at Auto Club Speedway in California, Jonathan showed Jeff a photo that he is still proud of today — the photo taken the day he met Jeff for the very first time. When Jeff learned that Jonathan is cancer free, he wrote “wishes do come true” across the special photo. Jonathan’s wish to tell Jeff he won his race against cancer came true.

Jeff’s wish is that all children battling cancer will win their race. The Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation seeks to fund promising research that will help kids win their race against cancer. When you purchase a Corvette raffle ticket you’re helping children win that race. And you too could be a hero who drives a Chevy.

NASCAR Race Mom purchased her ticket (as she does yearly). Wish NRM luck!

Want a Chance to Lunch with #NASCAR 's Jeff Gordon?

Want a Chance to Lunch with #NASCAR 's Jeff Gordon?

You only have one month - February 2-28 to enter.

Want a Chance to Lunch with #NASCAR 's Jeff Gordon?

Ever wonder what it would be like to grab lunch with your favorite NASCAR driver, TV sportscaster, and childhood cancer philanthropist? Wish you could hang out with Jeff and ask him about all those things you pondered while watching from the stands or your sofa? Is there something you’ve always wanted to tell him? Well, this could be your opportunity to do ALL of these things!

YOU COULD WIN:
A private lunch for you and one guest with Jeff Gordon
  • • A private lunch for you and one guest with Jeff Gordon
  • • Two tickets to experience the NASCAR Hall of Fame
  • • An exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of Hendrick Motorsports
  • • An exclusive, premium collectible gift from Jeff
  • • $1,500 for overnight accommodations and travel to Charlotte, N.C.

NASCAR Race Mom had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Gordon in 2012. Jeff presented himself so at ease and polite, he immediately calmed my nerves. As I was allowed to direct the dialogue, I asked him about the highs versus the lows of his recent racing experiences.

“That’s just part of racing,” Jeff explained. “It is definitely not how we wanted to start the chase as we already had to start twelfth in the points; but we are not out of it yet. You have to be careful not to dwell on all that good and bad. Ten races are a lot more than most people realize. We need to get everything we can out of it and make up some ground. Never give up!” Gordon responded.

It was a wonderful experience for this NASCAR Nut and you can bet that NRM bought two tickets of her own to help support this philanthropic cause.

Childhood is a time for dreaming big. The possibilities are endless; you can be anything your heart desires. Your imagination can take you anywhere you wish to go. The world is as big as your imagination.

Cancer steals those dreams from children as the focus shifts to just feeling better, wishing for hair to grow back, and dreaming of a day spent outside a hospital or a doctor’s office. By partnering with the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation, you are doing the very important work of restoring dreams to our children.

Research holds the promise for treatments that are less toxic and results that include a cure.

Rest In Peace Karsyn Bratch

Strive to be more Karsyn-like.

Rest In Peace Karsyn Bratch
She had battled one form or another of cancer nearly all her life. Born February 17, 2003, her diagnosis with Optic Gleomia in 2007, soon led to the discovery of several other medical issues.

The young girl was also legally blind. But the various ailments that had invaded her body could not depressed her life-force.

Karsyn probably couldn’t remember a time when cancer did not negatively impact her life. Through countless treatment plans, surgeries, drug cocktails, and radiation, her fighting spirit never wavered.

Some people may look at Karsyn and see the obstacles. Not Karsyn - she looked at the world and embraced the opportunities.

It is the writer’s sorrow to inform that Karsyn Kennedy Bratch, just twelve years of age, died at 7:48 pm, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her home. She lived with her mom, Linette and stepdad, Bill Burchett, on Old U.S. 24 near Richvalley. She also has a sister, Jordan, stepsister, Cassie, and a little nephew, Kadyn. Bratch’s dad, Bob, is in the military and resides in Indianapolis.

Karsyn was a seventh grader at Wabash Middle School, and was in the Metropolitan School District of Wabash County until 6th grade. She was known as The Princess of Sharp Creek Elementary.

She was a member of the Girl Scouts. Karsyn enjoyed crafts, telling knock-knock jokes, fishing, and being in the boat on the water. She enjoyed cheer-leading and was an honorary cheerleader. Karsyn loved talking to people and didn't know a stranger.

Rest In Peace Karsyn Bratch

Further, Karsyn had a big heart and was the founder of the Kick It for Karsyn campaign in Wabash and also Karsyn Kares, used for helping three other families. Did I mention her love for NASCAR Champion Jeff Gordon?

We can all learn from Ms. Karsyn. Her recent @KarsynKickIt @kickkidscancer @JeffGordon4Cure event has raised more than $20,000. While it is easier to focus on our own negativity, we should all be more Karsyn-like and concentrate on the welfare of others.

Raffle for Childhood Cancer Research.

Raffle for Childhood Cancer Research.
Larry Graff is motivated by Jackson Panzarello's fight against cancer. Not a day goes by where Jackson's memory isn't guiding, inspiring, and urging him to always “Fight On.” Jackson was just ten- years-old when he passed away in 2012.

Graff has raised nearly $95,000 to benefit pediatric cancer charities such as the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation, Kick It, and CureSearch.

This February raffle is truly unique because of the Grand Prize. #NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon autographed an AARP uniform jacket for this fundraising raffle.

However, the AARP jacket is just one of ten prize packages in this upcoming drawing.

Tickets are on sale now for just $6 each and only 500 tickets can be sold.

All donations benefit the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation for childhood cancer research and treatment. Drawing will be conducted by Karsyn Bratch, 12, who has battled cancer for more than half of her life. This Raffle is open to U.S. and Canadian addresses only with FREE shipping to U.S. addresses.

Our vision is that there will be a day when no child will face the uncertainty of cancer, and that successful treatments will not result in negative, long-term effects. Your support will directly impact our ability to reach that vision as quickly as possible.- Jeff Gordon
