Crown Royal Presents
The Samuel Deeds 400 at the Brickyard

Do you have a bucket list?* Well NASCAR Race Mom does.

If you know NASCAR Race Mom, you also know that being at the track is on the top of her list of passions. The intense emotion the roar of a pack of stock cars, with their engines growling as they circled the racetrack, releases a great sense of joy and anticipation. Quite simply - NRM loves it!

Well 2013 is not going to pass by without at least one more exhilarating “at-the-track” NASCAR Experience. NASCAR Race Mom will have the opportunity to check off one of the big items on her bucket list.

I will be attending the “Crown Royal Presents the Samuel Deeds 400 at the Brickyard Powered by BigMachineRecords.com” ** which is scheduled for Sunday, July 28.

Yup you read correctly – the Brickyard! Rich in history and tradition, this up and coming NASCAR Adventure at the “Indianapolis Motor Speedway” will surely become a lifetime milestone.

So stay tuned and check back often as NASCAR Race Mom blogs about her experiences at the race named after a present day hero; a retired U.S. Marine who was severely injured in Iraq while saving brother soldiers from an improvised explosive device.

* Bucket List a list of things that one has not done before but wants to do before dying.

Gunnery Sgt. Samuel Deeds
** The Indianapolis Motor Speedway has announced the honoree for this year's Brickyard 400. While deployed in Iraq, Gunnery Sgt. Samuel Deeds, a diehard NASCAR fan, dreamed of working in the sport after completing his service. In 2005, those dreams took a back seat when Deeds placed himself in harm’s way to save the lives of his fellow Marines. Deeds will travel to one of the country’s most historic tracks, Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), not as a fan or employee, but as the race namesake!
