#NASCAR's First-Ever In-Season Tournament

Atlanta's Night Race Comes with Higher Stakes

When the stars of NASCAR duel on EchoPark Speedway’s high banks this Saturday night, the race will carry higher, never-before-seen stakes.

The Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart will not only be a pivotal event for drivers competing to race their way into NASCAR playoffs or bolster their championship hopes; the event will also be the first in 32 drivers’ quest to win $1 million in NASCAR’s first-ever In-Season Tournament.

Seeding for the field of 32 drivers in contention for the $1 million prize was set based on the results of the NASCAR Cup Series events in Michigan, Mexico City, and Pocono. These drivers will compete over the course of five races – starting with Saturday night’s Quaker State 400 in Atlanta – in head-to-head, bracket-style elimination matchups to determine who will be the inaugural winner of the NASCAR In-Season Tournament.

Saturday night’s event at EchoPark Speedway will feature 16 head-to-head matchups at one of the series’ wildest and most intense tracks:

  16. #16 Kyle Busch (No. 8 Chevrolet) vs. #17 Brad Keselowski (No. 6 Ford)

The 16 drivers who finish better than their head-to-head opponent will advance to the next round at the Chicago Street Course; the other 16 drivers will be eliminated from the tournament.
