The first of four combination events the ARCA Menards Series East shares with the national division to close out 2025 begins this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway, a facility that has more than earned its moniker as ‘The Monster Mile’.
Despite being a mile in length, what separates Dover from other similar facilities is its corners banked at 24 degrees. Precision and care are imperative to navigate the self-cleaning banking, as one wrong move could end not only one driver’s day, but several others attempting to avoid the chaos.

Although Dover has existed for over five decades, the ARCA Menards Series platform did not visit the track until 2020 when it took over sanctioning for the East Series, which had a presence there since 1987. The list of East Series winners at Dover includes names like Jimmy Spencer, Bubba Wallace, Austin Hill, Sam Mayer and Ty Gibbs.
Last year was the first time the national ARCA Menards Series competed at Dover alongside the East Series, with Connor Zilisch taking the checkered flag. Drivers from both divisions will once again seek to emerge victorious at the Monster Mile and gain momentum, especially with the East Series title fight entering its home stretch.
