Actor and singer Jordan Fisher will be on hand to perform the National Anthem prior to the Good Sam 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, March 13.
"I'm so excited to attend my first NASCAR race and sing the National Anthem at Phoenix International Raceway,” said Fisher. “This is a great honor for me to perform this song in front of such amazing drivers and some of the most passionate fans in all of sports."
Fisher most recently appeared in the FOX special “Grease: Live” as ‘Doody’ which attracted more than 12.2 million viewers and ranked as the number one most viral special live musical event with over 162.2 million social impressions.
Originally from Birmingham, Ala., he made his debut on the popular Nickelodeon series “iCarly” and later landed his first major acting role on ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” He has also appeared in Disney’s “Teen Beach Movie” and “Teen Beach 2”, Nickelodeon’s “The Thundermans”, MTV’s “Teen Wolf” and currently stars on Disney’s “Liv and Maddie.”
In addition to his on-camera roles, Jordan signed a recording deal with Hollywood Records last year and is currently in the studio working on his debut album with some of the industry’s premier writers and producers. His first single off the album will be dropping this spring.
Race fans attending the AXALTA Faster. Tougher. Brighter. 200 NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Friday, Nov. 13 will hear the national anthem performed by the Anglim Sisters. The country singing trio from Scottsdale, Ariz., covers contemporary rock ballads and will return to PIR following their appearance prior to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race in November.
