Limited Edition Indy 500 Pace Car Edition Camaro Taken For Joy Ride

Southern Californian, Mari Agredano-Quirino, caught a mechanic taking her beloved limited edition Indy 500 Pace Car Edition Camaro for a joyride last week, and recorded her confrontation with the driver.

The mechanic from a dealership in Montebello, had taken the customer's vehicle to get burgers and had the gall to claim he was on a "test drive." 

The owner of the dealership posted an apology on Facebook.

“This is something we do not condone," dealership owner Chris Teague said in a Facebook video. "I apologize this took place and it will never happen again."

Personally, NASCAR Race Mom takes a cell phone photo of all vehicles dropped off for service to insure that only a reasonable amount of mileage, related to the requested service, is added to the odometer.
