South Point will continue to serve as the official hotel and casino of Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Las Vegas Motor Speedway and South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa are driving their partnership forward with a multi-year renewal, keeping the South Point 400 as the entitlement race of Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s fall NASCAR Cup Series event.
The extension strengthens the long-term alliance between Las Vegas Motor Speedway and South Point, a relationship that dates to the track’s opening in 1996, and maintains South Point’s status as the speedway’s Official Hotel and Casino.
"South Point has been proud to support racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for decades, and the South Point 400 has become a highlight for our team and our guests,” said Ryan Growney, general manager of South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa. “We’re proud to continue this tradition and keep the excitement of NASCAR alive here in Las Vegas."
The 2026 South Point 400 will be held on October 4, the second race in the Round of 12 in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
“Michael Gaughan and South Point have been part of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway family since our earliest days and their commitment to racing runs deep,” said Patrick Lindsey, senior vice president and general manager of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. “Their support helps us deliver world-class racing and a memorable experience for fans year after year. We’re excited to continue building on that tradition together."
