Officials made the decision to call the race and the NASCAR Sprint Cup race has been rescheduled to run on Monday, June 6 at noon ET on FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

This race, the 14th of 36 races on the 2016 Sprint Cup circuit, marks the first Cup event of the season that been postponed to the following day.

When the race does get underway, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano, Team Penske teammates will start on the front row. Keselowski won his first pole in 2016.

"It was a really solid effort for Team Penske to get 1-2," Keselowski said. "That is really hard to do. I can tell you that. We had great speed, obviously, today."

Matt Kenseth and Kevin Harvick share the second row on the starting grid.

Interesting Fact: Pocono Raceway added 5,160 feet of SAFER barrier during the offseason. By next season every wall at the "Tricky Triangle" will have SAFER walls. Pit road also was extended after a couple of scary practice accidents in recent years.
