Whisky River Colors for Allgaier at Kentucky

Whisky River Colors for Allgaier at Kentucky For just the third time in its history, JR Motorsports will wheel out a car wearing the livery of Whisky River, the bar and restaurant chain founded by team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The No. 7 Whisky River Chevrolet driven by Justin Allgaier will make the trek to Sparta, Ky. for Friday’s Alsco 300 on the 1.5-mile oval, and the car features the black, red and white Whisky River colors.

“I’m excited,” said Allgaier of his Kentucky colors. “What Dale has grown Whisky River into is incredible. To be able to represent that and to see the growth of it and where it’s headed is pretty awesome. Kentucky is a great race track to have Whisky River on the car and hopefully we can do our job and take Whisky River to Victory Lane.”

The Kentucky car features the Charlotte flagship store and the new arrivals in the Raleigh-Durham International Airport and North Myrtle Beach, S.C. on the quarterpanels. The Raleigh-Durham airport location opened earlier this year, joining its sister airport location at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, and the new North Myrtle Beach location had its soft open earlier this month. Other airport locations are in the company pipeline for the near future.

The first time a JRM car wore the Whisky River nameplate was back in April of 2010, when Kelly Bires wheeled the Whisky River Chevrolet at Phoenix Raceway. In June of that same year, Coleman Pressley ran a Whisky River/Lee Brice-themed car at Nashville Superspeedway.
