Each season fans look forward to new concessions and new partnerships and this year can expect to see Rowdy Energy throughout the ballpark at several retailers, within in-game promotions, on-site activations, and more.

"Texas is an important market for us as a brand and this collaboration will further solidify our positioning and presence there," said Hallie Lorber, Vice President of Marketing for Rowdy Energy. "Not to mention, we love the state and its people, which makes this partnership a dream come true."

The beverage is unlike any other energy drink on the market, featuring precise time-released caffeine, sugar-reducing ingredients, hydration levels above the leading sports drink and to top it off, an amazing taste. Further promotion includes digital signage throughout the ballpark, concourse, and exterior displays, collateral available for fans, social media promotion, sweepstakes opportunities, PA announcements, and more.

Rowdy Energy will be available at all national events at Globe Life Field including baseball home games, national rodeos, college baseball, Army vs. Air Force football games, concerts, Camp Gladiator events, large auto shows, high school football games, and high school graduations as well as college graduations.

Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America Launches First-Ever Virtual Fundraiser

Kyle Petty Charity Ride, Inc. announced the launch of its “Walk, Run, Ride for 45” virtual fundraiser challenge honoring Kyle Petty’s late son, Adam. Registration for the fundraiser begins on Monday, April 5, 2021. Participants will have five weeks to fundraise before conquering the physical challenge of walking or running 4,500 steps or riding 45 miles on their bicycle or motorcycle over the course of five days – May 10 – 14, 2021. Every penny raised, every step taken, and every mile ridden helps the Ride keep Adam’s dream alive by raising awareness and funds to send children with chronic and serious medical illnesses to camp at Victory Junction.

“Walk, Run, Ride for 45” was created in lieu of postponing the 26th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America for the second time due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“After receiving so many requests to hold a virtual event in place of the Ride, we are excited to deliver and open up the event to allow not only our riders, but also allow our fans to participate,” said Kyle Petty, former NASCAR driver, current NBC Sports racing analyst and founder of the Ride. “Our sole mission is to raise funds each year to provide magical camping experiences for deserving kids at Victory Junction. While we might not be having our Ride this year, our hope for the ‘Walk, Run, Ride for 45’ virtual fundraiser is to keep the Ride’s spirit alive while coming together to raise money to continue to support our cause.”

A $10 registration fee enters participants into the virtual fundraiser challenge, where they can then choose to fundraise individually or as part of a team. The top three fundraisers and top fundraising team will win the following prizes:

  1. • 1st Place Fundraiser: Four tickets to a 2021 NASCAR Cup race (conditions apply); a Zoom call with Kyle Petty; three Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America hats autographed by Kyle Petty; assorted Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America swag items
  2. • 2nd Place Fundraiser: Two tickets to a 2021 NASCAR Cup race (conditions apply); two Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America hats autographed by Kyle Petty; assorted Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America swag items
  3. • 3rd Place Fundraiser: A branded Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America OGIO jacket; a Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America hat autographed by Kyle Petty; assorted Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America swag items
  4. • Top Fundraising Team: Six tickets to a 2021 NASCAR Cup race (conditions apply); a Zoom team call with Kyle Petty; assorted Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America swag items

Registration for the event will take place Monday, April 5 through Sunday, May 9. Then, to honor Adam, former driver of the No. 45 car who passed away in a racing accident on May 12, 2000, participants are encouraged to complete 4,500 steps or 45-mile challenge from May 10 – 14, 2021.

Participants can choose to walk, run or ride all at once on one specific day or they can spread it out over the course of the five-day period. Once they have completed their challenge, participants are also encouraged to share it on social media with a photo or video using #WalkRunRideFor45.

Martinsville Speedway to Host Limited Fans for Spring NASCAR Weekend on April 8-10

Martinsville Speedway to Host Limited Fans for Spring NASCAR Weekend on April 8-10

As NASCAR returns to the fierce half-mile short track at Martinsville Speedway, the track will host a limited, reduced number of fans throughout the first-ever three race weekend of night races on April 8-10. Martinsville Speedway will host the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 200 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race on Thursday, April 8, the Cook Out 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race on Friday, April 9 at 8:00 p.m. and the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 NASCAR Cup Series race on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m.

The reduced capacity for the 2021 spring event weekend is due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and continues in accordance with enhanced safety protocols and procedures to provide a safe environment for fans, competitors, employees and industry personnel.

“With the increase in limited fan capacity for entertainment venues across the Commonwealth of Virginia, we will be ready to welcome back more race fans for a safe, exciting race experience at Martinsville Speedway,” said Martinsville President Clay Campbell. “We look forward to hearing more of our loyal race fans cheer on the action for our first-ever three race weekend of night races on April 8-10.”

As a result of the seating capacity limitations, many guests have had their grandstand seats relocated. In addition to encouraging distancing throughout the venue, all guests will be screened before entering the facility at staggered entry times and will be required to wear face coverings. Multiple handwashing and hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the operating areas and entrances and a “clean team” of staff, clearly identified for guests, will be cleaning or disinfecting at all times.
