Petty Family Foundation Making Gift Boxes for Overseas Soldiers

The Petty Family Foundation is taking care of our troops ... and you can help.

Partnering with Operation North State, the Foundation will spend a morning filling gift boxes for North Carolina soldiers who are currently serving overseas.

The boxes will be filled with North Carolina-themed items such as Our State Magazine, Bojangles seasoning, Richard Petty apparel and other favorite Tar Heel State gifts.

With nearly 700 boxes to be packaged and shipped, Petty Family Foundation is looking for volunteers to come to Victory Junction on Wednesday, December 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and gather at the "Fuel Stop."
