It’s raceday at Michigan International Speedway for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. The 35th running of the Corrigan Oil 200 is shaping up to be one of the most competitive ARCA races at Michigan in years.
A mix of rookies and veterans in the new composite and steel bodied cars will add even more flavor to this afternoon’s big show. The day gets underway with Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell at 1:40 p.m. ET. The Corrigan Oil 200 follows, live on FS1 at 5:30.
A couple NASCAR Drivers will be participating. Matt Tifft is a development driver for Joe Gibbs Racing and currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Kyle Benjamin is ranked second in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Both were named a member of ‘NASCAR Next'.
Matt Kurzejewski, whose crew chief is Brian Keselowski (the son of 1989 ARCA national champion Bob Keselowski and older brother of 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski)is also a veteran of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the K&N Pro East Series.
