Dale Jr. To Be Featured in Broadcast Booth

The last time Dale Earnhardt Jr. was the guest TV analyst for a NASCAR Xfinity Series event, JR Motorsports wound up in Victory Lane. That is welcomed news to JRM drivers Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier and Alex Bowman, because “Boss Man Dale” will be back in the booth this weekend at Michigan International Speedway (MIS).

Earnhardt Jr. spent time in the booth at Michigan International Speedway in 2013, and then-JRM regular Regan Smith won the 2013 event. This year, he will join Adam Alexander and Michael Waltrip for the call on FOX Sports 1, beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET. He’ll bring a winner’s perspective to the show as well, having won NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events at the 2-mile oval in 2008 and 2012.

Other drivers who have ventured into the FS1 broadcast booth this year include part-time JRM drivers Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer. Former JRM pilots Danica Patrick and Brad Keselowski, who got his first big break in the sport driving for JRM, have also shared their insight in the broadcast booth this season.
