Twitter Trend - Not in the Good Way
NASCAR Race Mom was not the only #NASCAR Fan to grimace during the singing of our beloved National Anthem. Multiple platinum-selling rock band, Night Ranger, ‘performed’ the National Anthem at Las Vegas Motor Speedway prior to the Kobalt 400 on Sunday. It was bad. Luckily the United States Air Force flyover featuring a pair of F-15s and two F-22 Raptors was a crowd pleaser.
We need to do something about the noise level from the Night Ranger. #NASCAR— nascarcasm (@nascarcasm) March 12, 2017
Hate to admit this, but I’m paid to report the truth. Night Ranger struggled with the anthem.— Mike Cranston (@MikeCranston1) March 12, 2017
Wait, you had John Fogerty just standing around and you let Night Ranger sing the national anthem?! What the hell?— Ken Childs (@TheKenChilds) March 12, 2017
I just listened to the worst National Athem I've ever heard. C'mon NASCAR! Night Ranger was the WRONG pitch...— Whisky Sour (@whiskysourkz) March 12, 2017
#NASCAR Next time if there is a choice between Night Ranger and John Fogerty, Choose Fogerty Thank you!— Really NASCAR?! (@reallynascar) March 12, 2017
