A New Playoff Format
With just three races left in the regular season, NASCAR’s version of the playoffs – the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup – is right around the corner. With a new format unveiled at the start of the season, the 10 race Chase is fixing to be the most dramatic and exciting yet. As the Chase Grid (the 16 drivers eligible to compete for the Championship) is finalized in the next three weeks, it’s the perfect time for a refresher on the new format.
