My career as a NASCAR driver was remarkable! I won 55 races! (I have to admit I am pretty proud of that.) But as successful as I was, I know that I couldn’t have won without the support, expertise and willingness to go the extra mile of every member of my team and my crew.
Now that my driving career is over, I’m trying to show that gratitude by working with The NASCAR Foundation to help a lot of folks – especially children – who haven’t been as fortunate as I have been.
So, as a Foundation Board Member, I’d also like to express my deepest gratitude to you, Z., for your generous support of everything we’re trying to accomplish.
None of this, of course, would be possible without the loyalty and generosity of thousands of NASCAR fans like you, fans who truly deserve to be members of our special crew. I can’t tell you how much good we do by coming together and pledging our support not only to each other but to children and families less fortunate than we are.
