Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon, who have won a total of 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championships, will be the special guests at this year's annual Kobalt Kampout in the Neon Garage at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, March 4.
Johnson, who has won a record four Kobalt 400s to go along with six Sprint Cup titles, and the newly retired Gordon - a four-time Sprint Cup champion who won the 2001 Kobalt 400 - will visit with RV account holders at the famed Neon Garage during the two-hour event, which runs from 6-8 p.m. Pacific Time.
Any LVMS NASCAR Weekend attendees who purchased RV spaces will receive complimentary tickets to the Kobalt Kampout, which will also include live music from the Scotty Alexander Band, giveaways, $2 beer, $1 hot dogs, a special new drink from LVMS partner Levy Restaurants and more.
Race fans who bought RV spots on Motorhome Hill along the superspeedway's backstretch will receive eight free Kobalt Kampout tickets, while infield RV lot customers will get six complimentary tickets to the event. Fans who reserved RV spots at The Bullring, Boulevard, Burn Out, Checkered Flag, Turn 1 and Turn 3 lots will receive two free tickets apiece or one per weekend package purchased.
The Kobalt Kampout will follow Stratosphere Pole Day at LVMS, which will include practice sessions for the Boyd Gaming 300 and Kobalt 400, as well as Sprint Cup qualifying.
The event, designed as an appreciation celebration for LVMS' dedicated RV fans, is only open to RV account holders. Additional Kobalt Kampout passes are available for $20 for RV account holders, and they can call 1-800-644-4444 for more details.
