Female Driver Delivers #Wins / Mariah Boudrieau

Third generation racer, youngster Mariah Boudrieau has been busy this season making her dreams a reality. Last year, she finished eighth in the Super Stock division and became the first female to win ‘Rookie of the Year’ at Colorado National Speedway in that series.

I-25 Speedway – “Thunder in the Rockies” offers Saturday night racing from May to September. Located six miles north of Pueblo, Colorado, the short race track is a 1/4 mile paved oval.

Freshly after her Late Model win at I-25 speedway on June 26th, NASCAR Race Mom had the opportunity to learn more about this Colorado Springs athlete.

"I am racing a late model for the 2021 racing season. It is my first season in the car and I am doing exceptionally well. I am also working on racing the Arca Menards series, but I am in need of sponsors." Mariah Boudrieau

Question: As a young female, what type of pressure are you under to represent your gender?

As a young female in racing, I always feel I must prove that I am good enough to run with the guys. I am the only female currently running late models in Colorado at my home track of Colorado national speedway, and the other track of I-25 speedway.

So far in my racing career, I have experienced some hardships of being a young female . . . . some of the male drivers think that they can intimidate me, but I never let them. I also have experienced some amazing male drivers that support me and help me in my racing journey.

Question: What does your team offer potential Sponsors?

For my local racing and the Arca Menards series my team offers potential sponsors a multitude of different things. We offer: social media posts, videos personal appearances, autograph meet and greets, race car appearances, and pit passes for special sponsors.

Question: What is your favorite part of the racing community?

My favorite part of the racing community is the interaction I get with my fans, the fans are absolutely amazing towards me. I also enjoy the supportive competition I get with my fellow drivers.

Question: What is your goal for 2021?

My goal for 2021 is to finish top 10 in the late model points at Colorado National Speedway. I also want to try and make a race for the ARCA Menards series!

Question: Where do you see yourself in 2022?

In 2022 I hopefully see myself running a full if not almost full schedule for the ARCA Menards series!

Admirable goals for an aggressive driver.
