In racing, sponsorship is not just the key to success, but what it takes to even get a spot on the track. That's why Busch Light is making a first-of-its-kind commitment to sponsor every woman driver (21+) in NASCAR today–and for years to come.

Let’s take a closer look at Driver Brittney Zamora

Brittney is a second-generation driver that started racing at the age of four. Her resumรฉ includes racing go-karts, mini stocks, and late model. She is now in her sixth season in Super Late Models (SLM) and third season in the NASCAR ARCA Series.

Five Races To Go

With just five races remaining in the regular season in the NASCAR Cup Series time is running thin for drivers to ensure their spot in the Playoffs. Gazing ahead to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, five drivers have already clinched their spots on wins and points with several others having the opportunity to do the same this weekend.

The following five drivers have clinched a spot in the Sixteen (16)-driver postseason field:

  1. Kyle Larson
  2. Kyle Busch
  3. Chase Elliott
  4. Martin Truex Jr.
  5. Alex Bowman

Track History

The NASCAR Cup Series 2021 regular season schedule is winding down with just five races to go and this weekend the best side-by-side racing in sports heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the 50th running of the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 on July 18 at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).

Groundbreaking for New Hampshire International Speedway, as New Hampshire Motor Speedway was originally named, was August 13, 1989. The 1.058-mile paved oval is located on approximately 1,200 acres; the multi-use complex is the largest sports facility in New England. Speedway Motorsports, Inc. agreed to purchase New Hampshire International Speedway from Bob and Gary Bahre on January 11, 2008, and then renamed the track New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The first NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway was on July 11, 1993 and won by NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace driving a Team Penske Pontiac (105.947 mph, 02:59:45).

There have been forty-nine (49) NASCAR Cup Series races held at New Hampshire Motor Speedway; one per year from 1993 through 1996 and two per year from 1997-2017. In 2018, the track reverted back to just one event per season. The forty-nine (49) NASCAR Cup Series races at New Hampshire have produced twenty-two (22) different pole winners and (twenty-four) 24 different race winners.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Ryan Newman leads the series in poles at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with seven (2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2011 sweep, 2013). This weekend’s starting lineups were determined by Metric Qualifying and as a result Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch will start on the pole. Busch will be joined by JGR teammate Martin Truex Jr. on the front row.

NBC Sports TV Analyst and former driver Jeff Burton (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000) and Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick (2006, 2016, 2018, 2019) lead the NASCAR Cup Series in wins at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with four victories each. Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski is the most recent Cup winner at New Hampshire taking home the trophy last season after putting on a dominant performance of leading 184 of the scheduled 301 laps.

Busch Beer - Title Sponsor for The Clash

Busch Beer - Title Sponsor for The Clash

Daytona on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 3 p.m.

Daytona International Speedway and Anheuser-Busch announced that for the first time since 1997, Busch Beer will return as the title sponsor for The Clash At DAYTONA. The exhibition race will return to its original iconic name – Busch Clash At DAYTONA.

Busch Beer - Title Sponsor for The Clash (#NASCAR)

Anheuser-Busch’s history in NASCAR dates back to 1978, when it sponsored the Busch Pole Award, and the Busch Clash At DAYTONA debuted the following year in 1979. Following the 1997 Busch Clash, Anheuser-Busch continued sponsorship of the exhibition event with its Budweiser brand through 2011. But after a couple of name changes, the legendary race name is now back on this fan-favorite event.

“Busch Beer will forever be linked to the history of The Clash and we are thrilled to welcome them back as we collectively drive excitement for the start of the 2020 season,” Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile said. “Our brand-loyal fans have been awaiting Busch’s return to The Clash for years and we expect this will rekindle memories and help set the stage for the next generation of NASCAR fans.”

The Busch Clash (3 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) will return in 2020 as a 75-lap/187.5-mile exhibition event featuring 20 drivers. The exclusive field is limited to 2019 Busch Pole Award winners; past Busch Clash champions who competed full-time in 2019; former DAYTONA 500 champions who competed full-time in 2019; former DAYTONA 500 pole winners who competed full-time in 2019 and 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff drivers.

“Becoming a NASCAR Cup Series Premier Partner afforded us the opportunity to evolve our presence in the sport, and authentically connect our deep-rooted history in NASCAR to its future,” said Nick Kelly, vice president partnerships, beer category and community, Anheuser-Busch. “We’re looking forward to enjoying the Busch Clash with all the fans who’ve waited, and asked, for the return of the original race name.”

The return of the Busch Clash At DAYTONA highlights Busch Beer’s position as a NASCAR Cup Series Premier Partner, announced earlier this month. As a Premier Partner, Busch Beer, will continue to activate across the sport through its exclusive sponsorship of the Busch Pole Award and will be featured prominently in multiple platforms across the sport, including integrations in broadcast, NASCAR digital and social channels, in-market promotions and at-track activations. Busch Beer is joined as a NASCAR Cup Series Premier Partner by Coca-Cola, GEICO and Xfinity.

Tickets for the 2020 DAYTONA 500 and all Daytona International Speedway events can be purchased online at here or by calling 1-800-PITSHOP.

Fans can stay connected with Daytona International Speedway on:

You can also download the mobile app for the latest Speedway news throughout the season.

Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race" – the DAYTONA 500. Though the season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners most of the attention – as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." In addition to nine major weekends of racing activity, rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include civic and social gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicle testing and police motorcycle training.
