#NASCAR Schedule for Xfinity & #KNWest

Both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck Series have an off weekend. However, there is still plenty of NASCAR action to be enjoyed.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will travel to Lexington, Ohio for their race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course opened for racing in 1962. The track is a road course and is 3,634 km (2.258 miles) long. Surface is paved with 13 turns. The stands currently capacity are 75 000 (10 000 Bleachers and 65 000 open) seats.

Lap record is held by Michael McDowell with 96.256 MPH (84.450 SEC.); August 17, 2013. It was an eventful weekend for Michael as he earned a career-best finish at Watkins Glen International in his 200th career start.

The K&N Pro Series West will race in Washington on Saturday also. The NAPA Auto Parts 150 will be the series' 52nd race at Evergreen Speedway. Todd Gilliland's win at Iowa Speedway, his fourth NASCAR K&N Pro Series West victory of the season, allowed him to retake the championship lead from Ryan Partridge.

If you were on hand last Saturday night at the Irwindale Speedway for the opening event of the 2016 K&N Pro Series West, be sure to catch all the action via television today.

Series Rookie Todd Gilliland started from the pole and took the lead back from Ryan Partridge on Lap 123 to win the Toyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150. His victory was his second consecutive victory in his second straight start in the West.

Last-Lap Pass Nets Gracin Raz #knwest Race

Gracin Raz celebrates his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series West
win Saturday night at All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif.

Eighteen-year-old Gracin Raz executed a last-lap pass Saturday night at All American Speedway to score his first career win. Starting third on a green-white-checkered finish, the teen powered his No. 27 Montana Tech Ford past Chris Eggleston on the first lap and Alex Schutte on the final lap. The late caution pushed the 'oyota/NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by Axle Crutch' to 152 laps.

Heading into the season finale at Phoenix International Raceway on Thursday, Nov. 12, Eggleson leads Gragson by four points and Raz by nine. Patridge dropped a spot to fourth, 12 points out of the lead.

Bickford Clinches Sunoco Rookie of The Year #nascar #knwest

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - James Bickford went from a 25th-place finish in his NASCAR K&N Pro Series West debut to winning his first career race and now top rookie honors in the series.

The 16-year-old Napa, California, native has clinched the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title with two races remaining in the K&N West. Bickford holds a 32-point advantage over Rich DeLong III with events at All American Speedway in Roseville, California, and Phoenix International Raceway remaining in season.

Bickford, driving the No. 6 Sunrise Ford/Lucas Oil/Eibach Ford, began the 2014 season with a tough outing at Phoenix and a 15th-place finish at Califonia's Irwindale Speedway through the first two events. He finished 10th in the season's third event at California's Stockton 99 Speedway and from there would go on to post seven top fives and nine top 10s in his next 10 events, including his first career win at State Line Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho, on July 12.

Bickford is the third consecutive driver and fifth overall to earn the rookie title driving for car owner Bob Bruncati, who is known for providing an opportunity for young drivers to showcase their talent in the series. He joins current teammate Dylan Lupton (2013), Austin Dyne (2012), Luis Martinez Jr. (2010) Jason Bowles (2007) as drivers who have garnered the top rookie owners for Bruncati.

Past drivers to win the Sunoco Rookie of the Year honor in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West include Derrike Cope, Chad Little, Bill Sedgwick, Rick Carelli, David Gilliland and Dylan Kwasniewski.

Bickford will be honored for his Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award at the NASCAR Touring Series Awards on Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Charlotte (N.C.) Convention Center at the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
