Todd Gilliland Triumphant at both Events at Irwindale Speedway
Last month, Todd Gilliland won three races in a three day stretch to win a $10,000 bonus in the ‘NAPA 500 Challenge’ in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Amazingly, the defending series champion and third-generation driver, Gilliland, started from the pole in all four races of the challenge.
Gilliland leads BMR teammate Chris Eggleston by thirteen points in the battle for his second consecutive West crown (186-173) with the next race slated for May 13 at Spokane County Raceway.
Incidentally, you can see Todd and other Stars of Tomorrow today. Simply tune in to NBCSN at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time for the replay of race three and four of the K&N Pro Series West from California’s Irwindale Speedway.
