NASCAR Xfinity Series Returns Today at BMS

NASCAR Xfinity Series Returns Today at BMS

$1 Million Bonus Again Attainable In Dash 4 Cash

After a rare off weekend, NASCAR Fans are primed for some racing action. Bristol Motor Speedway will provide some extra excitement today as the second race of four in the program known as the 2017 NASCAR XFINITY Series "Dash 4 Cash"

The NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash has an updated format with the implementation of stages in each race of the series' 33-event circuit. Stage 1 and Stage 2 will determine which four drivers are eligible in the main race for the Dash 4 Cash prize, and a $100,000 check for each event.

Plus, $600,000 would be awarded to a driver who wins all four Dash 4 Cash bonuses, making the total possible winnings $1 million this year.

Eligibility

The top two XFINITY Series points-earning drivers in each of the two stages will make up the four-driver Dash 4 Cash lineup in the final stage. Once Stage 1 is complete, the two drivers who lock into the main field won't have their position counted following Stage 2 to ensure a four-driver field.

Chase Eligibility

Two Dash 4 Cash wins (not race wins) over the four races are equivalent to one regular-season race win in determining post-season Chase eligibility.

Xfinity Points Leader, Elliott Sadler and the OneMain Financial team earned their fifth consecutive top-10 finish in the My Bariatric Solutions 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

"We started out a little insecure on entry today in practice. Once we got that underneath us, we were able to get a little better and improve. I think we have a good direction to go in, especially with Justin (Allgaier) being as fast as he is. We will move in that direction and hopefully have a good car for tomorrow's race." Bryon reported about his practice session yesterday.

Justin Allgaier took home a $100,000 bonus by winning the first NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash race at Phoenix Raceway last month.
