Dale Earnhardt Jr. Confesses #IWreckedEm

After Denny Hamlin offered an apology to Chase Elliott, and accepted blame for moving the No. 24 car up the track and into the wall during the closing laps of Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race at Martinsville Speedway; Dale Earnhardt Jr. took the opportunity of his Dale Junior 'Dirty MoRadio  podcast to confess.

“I’d be surprised if there’s a driver who hasn’t intentionally wrecked somebody in their career.” Then he admitted to wrecking Kerry Lawrence, Stanton Barrett and Kasey Kahne over the years — and lastly Kyle Busch in 2008 at Richmond. The No. 88 driver admitted he was fined for a self-spin at Bristol because he bragged about the strategy play too much afterward.

“As soon as you spin somebody out you know that’s big news. There it goes, the media’s talking about it. Everybody’s gunna be asking you about it. You’re gunna have to talk about it all week.”

Of course that sparked the use of Junior’s hashtag #IWreckedEm on Twitter.
