The 2008 NASCAR Camping World Series Toyota All-Star Showdown Entry List

QUALIFYING AND RACE PROCEDURE

Two consecutive qualifying laps. (EIRI) Faster lap determines qualifying position. Adjustments or repairs may not be made on the car after the car has entered the track to begin a qualifying attempt. NASCAR reserves the right to have more than one car engage in qualifying runs at the same time. Starting field for the NASCAR Camping World Series Toyota All-Star Showdown is limited to 40 starters including provisional and “Protected” drivers.

“Protected” drivers for the 2008 NASCAR Camping World Series Toyota All-Star Showdown are: 1) 2008 NASCAR Camping World Series West Champion. 2) 2008 NASCAR Camping World Series East Champion. 3) 2008 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Champion. 4) 2008 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Champion. 5) 2008 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Champion. 6) 2008 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion. 7) 2008 NASCAR Mexico Series Champion. 8) All 2008 NASCAR Camping World Series West and East race winners. The starting position for each of these “Protected” drivers will be determined by qualifying.

Cars will be impounded after qualifying. Cars must qualify on race set up. After qualifying all cars will proceed immediately to the impound area. Only minor adjustments will be permitted following qualifying (i.e. air pressure checked, fuel added, tape removed). NASCAR Officials must oversee and authorize any and all work being done to the cars during this time period.
