Moses Smith, driver of the No. 16 Hasa Pool Products/White Flyer Toyota Camry is looking for a win at Douglas County Speedway on June 6th as the NASCAR Camping World Series West returns to the heart of Oregon. NASCAR Camping World Series West driver, Smith from Bill McAnally Racing and the Hasa team are all fired up for the Toyota Bi-Mart 150 presented by NAPA AUTO PARTS.
Qualifying will begin at the 3/8ths short track at 5 pm. Smith was on the inside of row two for the start of the race in 2008. The No. 16 Hasa Pool team will be looking to put the Toyota Camry on the front row for the 150-lap race.
“We had a great Hasa Toyota Camry last year for this race,” said Smith. Smith was one of only three drivers that led laps in last year’s race. He took the lead at lap 98; gaining valuable bonus points for leading the race. He would lose the lead at lap 103 to record a top-ten finish. “Crew chief Mario Isola and all of the team did an awesome job preparing a car for this race. We know we can run up front and give the Hasa fans a lot to cheer about.”
“We always have great support from our race partner, Hasa Pool Products,” continued Smith. “There were over 400 Hasa customers cheering for us at Douglas County Speedway last year. At driver introductions, they were yelling ‘Hasa’ from turn four. It was great to have them there. I look forward to getting a chance to spend some time with them once again.”
The NASCAR Camping World Series West Toyota Bi-Mart 150 will be on Saturday, June 6th at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, Oregon. Great seats are still available.
