Under the second caution of yesterday’s ARCA Racing Series event at Pocono Raceway, the #98 GREE Cooling Products Chevrolet suffered a brake line failure. Driver Gus Dean overshot his pit stall and spun around on pit road, hitting one of his Tire Changers and his Jackman.
Luckily, tire changer, Pedro Martinez, was able to get back up to his feet quickly. Unfortunately, jackman Jon House was not as fortunate. He stayed down for several minutes, and only got up after the medical crew had fitted him with a neck brace and helped him back up.
House was transported from the track for further evaluation. Martinez was checked and released from the infield care center.
@gusdean Update Jon House Dr. feels he should make close to or full recovery. Further scans to come, possible small bleed. Concussion.— Cyndy House (@houseshouse24) July 30, 2016
