Cameron Hayley’s last couple of #NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Races proved productive. His sixth place finish in Kentucky and seventh place at the Eldora Speedway dirt track moved him back up in to the top-ten of the series championship points standings.
Last Wednesday the driver of the No. 13 Cabinets by Hayley Toyota Tundra, made his second start at Eldora Speedway in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby. Hayley started the unique, 150-lap, three segment race, from the 20th position, ran as high as fourth, and overcame an accident early, and a flat tire late in the race, to finish a track-best seventh in the 4th annual event.
"It was an up and down kind of night for our Cabinets by Hayley team. We were pretty decent rolling on the top, then we got in a wreck, we overcame that, and then got in a rut, popped a bead, and had a right rear (tire) go down. A top-10 finish though, wow, I couldn't be more proud of that result." Hayley recapped.
Just a few days later the busy young driver welcomed a new fan, his eight pound eight-ounce daughter, Blakely Elizabeth Hayley into the world.
Congratulations to Cameron,
his family and team.
First night over and she slept for 5 hours straight and 4 hours straight! She is amazing and let Mom and Dad sleep! pic.twitter.com/UPT98laQ9H— Cameron Hayley (@CameronNHayley) July 23, 2016
