Noah Gragson Set for Season ARCA Debut

To Race With Mason Mitchell Motorsports at Pocono

Mason Mitchell Motorsports announced this week that Noah Gragson will make his ARCA season debut with the team in Friday’s General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Raceway.

Fresh off a third place finish on Monday with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East at the Dominion Raceway, Gragson will drive the No. 78 AlertID Chevrolet for MMM.

The 17-year-old Las Vegas native returns to MMM having recently been announced as one of the 2016-2017 NASCAR NEXT class members, and will test Tuesday at Pocono in preparation for the event. He has one prior ARCA start with MMM, finishing 14th in September at Kentucky Speedway.

Gragson tested at Daytona International Speedway with MMM in January, but was not able to race as he did not meet the minimum age requirement.

“I am really thankful to be back racing with Mason Mitchell Motorsports,” Gragson said. “Pocono is one of the most unique tracks in the United States with three completely different corners. It truly tests a driver’s skills.”

“The test will help us find a baseline to prepare for the race on Friday. Looking at the entry list, there’s going to be a lot of tough competition. MMM is a top notch organization and brings fast cars to the track. I am looking forward to Friday.”

Gragson is competing full-time in both the K&N East and West divisions this year, currently sitting fifth in East points and fourth in the West standings.

Mason Mitchell Motorsports has five prior starts at the Pocono Raceway, with one pole, two top-five and four top-10 finishes. Their best effort at the track to date came in June of 2014, when team owner Mason Mitchell finished as the runner-up to Kyle Larson.

The General Tire #ANYWHEREisPOSSIBLE 200 is the third of six straight races for the ARCA Racing Series.
